At this time, more than ever, we need (and we need to support) brilliant institutions like Callen-Lorde and we can support them, materially, right now!!!

When I first moved back to NYC in the early '00s, Callen-Lorde was where I turned to for affordable healthcare and they were, and are, incredible. More importantly, they carry a torch, that was lit in the '70s, of standing in the gap for our LGBTQIA+ and economically marginalized communities, providing sliding-scale healthcare and other services that benefit all of us and shine a light on the kind of world we can build together.

They can't do it alone, though. Healthcare is exceedingly expensive and Callen-Lorde is named target by the fascist forces that are making the lives of our communities so much more precarious right now. We need to stand by them and I’m thrilled to be participating in the 11th Annual Rainbow Run, a fundraiser supporting Callen-Lorde!
